Open to all golfers with a physical, sensory or intellectual disability.
Format: 36 Hole Strokeplay – Handicaps 0 – 18.4(GA) Stableford 18.5+(GA)

Golf Australia does not have a hotel partner for this event, however, participants may visit www.visitmoretonbayregion.com.au for further information on accommodation and general information about the Moreton Bay Region.
2023 QUEENSLAND INCLUSIVE CHAMPIONSHIP – TOURNAMENT CONDITIONS (To be read in conjunction with the Golf Australia Standard Event Conditions (Hard Card) as published on the GA Website at www.golf.org.au)
1. COMPETITION PROCEDURES
1.1 The Championship is scheduled to be played over 36 holes Stroke (GA H’Cap ≤ 18.4) or Stableford (GA H’Cap 18.5+)
1.2 The field for the Championship will be limited to 40 players with entries accepted on an as received basis.
1.3 All ties shall be decided by count-back as recommended by Golf Australia. The tournament will be conducted under the R&A Rules of Golf in addition, the Modified Rules for Players with Disabilities.
2. ELIGIBILITY
2.1 Eligible players are male and female amateurs and professionals who qualify under the GA definitions of impairment (www.golf.org.au/disability-rankings) and whose Golf Australia Handicap at the time of closing and does not exceed 54 (men) 54 (women) strokes in accordance with the Australian Handicapping System
2.2 Entries will be restricted to amateurs who are members of clubs affiliated with Golf Australia, or of golf clubs registered with such State or Overseas Associations as are affiliated with or recognised by this Association.
3. ENTRIES
3.1 The entry fee is $60.00 (incl. GST). Entry fee must be paid at the time of entry.
3.3 Entries shall only be made via the online registration system at www.golf.org.au.
3.3 Golf Australia shall have the right to refuse the entry of any person without being required to give any reason for such refusal.
3.4 The draw for the competition will be sent to players and available at www.golf.org.au approximately one week before the event.
4. TROPHIES
Trophies will be awarded for: ▪ 36-Hole Gross ▪ 36-Hole Nett ▪ 36-Hole Stableford ▪ 18 Hole Stableford and Nett (Both Days) Players will be eligible to win one major Trophy.
5. CHAMPIONSHIP COMMITTEE
The Committee shall consist of Golf Australia representatives and the Match Committee of the Club upon whose course the rounds are being played. In the absence of a full Championship Committee, such members thereof, as may be present at the time, may give a decision so given shall be deemed to be a decision of the full Championship Committee. In the event of bad weather, or for any other reason, the Championship Committee may shorten the competition, appoint another day or days for completion of, or may transfer play to another course. Protests must be made to the Championship Committee not later than 10 minutes after the conclusion of each round.
6. REFUND POLICY
Any entrant may withdraw and have their entry fee refunded provided notification is received within three working days prior to the commencement of the event. Under no circumstances will entry fees be refunded after this date unless players can provide Golf Australia supporting documents regarding their withdrawal from the event (ie. Medical Certificate).
7. MOTORISED TRANSPORT
Motorised transport is permitted for the event. Players are to notify Golf Australia if Motorised Transport is required through the official entry form.
Note: In the event in which a limited number of carts are available, players requesting carts will be paired together. Caddies are permitted to ride in the cart with the player ONLY when sufficient carts are available.
8. DATABASE OF COMPETITOR’S DETAILS
The personal information you provide in the relevant event entry form is collected, used and disclosed in accordance with the Golf Australia Privacy Policy (available from www.golf.org.au). Golf Australia may use and disclose your personal information for the purposes of conducting the relevant event, administering golfing and other related activities across Australia, providing you with event-related services or promotional material, complying with legal obligations or otherwise in accordance with the Golf Australia Privacy Policy.
Golf Australia may share your information, including contact details, date of birth, gender, credit card details, qualifications or communication history, with third parties such as Golf Australia, associations and clubs affiliated with Golf Australia, and companies engaged to carry out functions and activities on Golf Australia’s behalf, including sponsors and direct marketing or otherwise in accordance with Golf Australia’s Privacy Policy. In certain circumstances, your information may be disclosed overseas, for example to the International Golf Federation.
The Golf Australia Privacy Policy contains information about how you may access and request correction of your personal information held by Golf Australia or make a complaint about the handling of your personal information, and provides information about how a complaint will be dealt with by Golf Australia. Your relevant event entry may be rejected if the information is not provided. If you do not wish to receive promotional material from Golf Australia sponsors and third parties you must advise us via email or telephone or via the specific opt-out procedures provided in the relevant communication.
