Tuesday 28th: 1st round Championship
1st tee time: 11:L00 am. Registration 9am-10am
Wednesday 29th: Rest Day
Thursday 30th: 2nd round Championship
1st tee time: 11:00 am.
Friday 31st: Final round Championship and Presentation evening. (1st tee time 11:00am)

2023 AUSTRALIAN AMPUTEE OPEN COMPETITION PROCEDURES
1.1 The Championship is scheduled to be played over 54 holes Stroke play.
1.2 The field for the Championship will be limited to 84 players with entries accepted on an as received basis.
1.3 The player with the lowest stroke score after 54 holes shall be the 2023 Australian Amputee Golf Open Champion.
1.4 The player with the lowest nett score after 54 holes shall be the 2023 Australian Amputee Golf Nett Champion.
1.5 The womens player with the lowest stroke score after 54 holes shall be the 2023 Womens Champion
1.6 In the event of a tie for the Open Gross Champion, sudden death play off. All other ties shall be decided by count-back as recommended by Golf Australia.
2.1 Eligible players are male and female amateurs or professionals who qualify under the IGF definitions of impairment and whose Golf Australia Handicap at the time of entry does not exceed 54.0 (men) 54.0 (women) strokes in accordance with the Australian Handicapping System.
2.2 Entries will be restricted to amateurs and professionals, who are members of associations affiliated with Amputee Golf Australia, ie: state association: Amputee Golf NSW, Amputee Golf Victoria and Queensland Amputee Golf Association (QAGA).
3.1 The entry fee is (incl. GST) ,
AGA Members $150.00 (Includes 4 days golf with shared carts includes presentation)
AGA Members Guest $300 (includes 3 days golf Tuesday/Thursday/Friday includes Presentation)
Entry fee must be paid at the time of entry.
3.2 Amputee Golf Australia shall have the right to refuse the entry of any person without being required to give any reason for such refusal.
3.3 The draw for the competition will be sent to players and available at www.golf.org.au approximately one week before the event.
3.4 Entry forms that are received after the specified closing date will not be accepted.

Trophies will be awarded for:
54-Hole Gross – Australian Amputee Open Champion and Runner-up, Ladies Champion & Runner Up, Senior Champion, Veteran Champion, Legends Champion
54-Hole Nett – Nett Champion, Senior, Veteran, Leg Amputee, Arm Amputee, Multi Amputee
54 Hole – Members Guest Best Nett
No player may win more than one trophy.
The Committee shall consist of Amputee Golf Australia, Golf Australia representatives and the Match Committee of the Club upon whose course the rounds are being played. In the absence of a full Championship Committee, such members thereof, as may be present at the time, may give a decision so given shall be deemed to be a decision of the full Championship Committee. In the event of bad weather, or for any other reason, the Championship Committee may shorten the competition, appoint another day or days for completion of, or may transfer play to another course. Protests must be made to the Championship Committee not later than 10 minutes after the conclusion of each round.
Any entrant may withdraw and have their entry fee refunded provided notification is received within fourteen working days prior to the commencement of the event. Under no circumstances will entry fees be refunded after this date unless players can provide Amputee Golf Australia supporting documents regarding their withdrawal from the event (i.e. Medical Certificate).
Carts will be made available for participants for the tournament and Monday Ambrose event. The cost of shared golf cart hire over the tournament is included in the tournament entry fee.

Golf Australia may use and disclose your personal information for the purposes of conducting the relevant event, administering golfing and other related activities across Australia, providing you with event-related services or promotional material, complying with legal obligations or otherwise in accordance with the Golf Australia Privacy Policy.
Golf Australia may share your information, including contact details, date of birth, gender, credit card details, qualifications or communication history, with third parties such as, State Golf Associations and companies engaged to carry out functions and activities on Golf Australia’s behalf, including sponsors and direct marketing or otherwise in accordance with Golf Australia’s Privacy Policy. In certain circumstances, your information may be disclosed overseas, for example to the International Golf Federation.
The Golf Australia Privacy Policy contains information about how you may access and request correction of your personal information held by Golf Australia or make a complaint about the handling of your personal information, and provides information about how a complaint will be dealt with by Golf Australia. Your relevant event entry may be rejected if the information is not provided. If you do not wish to receive promotional material from Golf Australia sponsors and third parties you must advise us via email or telephone or via the specific opt-out procedures provided in the relevant communication.
