South Australian Junior Amateur Championship

Open to all junior boys and girls who are members of Clubs affiliated with Golf Australia or Overseas Associations as are affiliated with or recognised by Golf Australia who are under the age of 18 years as at the first day of competition.

This event is an Australian Junior Order of Merit event, SA Junior Boys and Girls Vardon Trophy event (SA OOM) & Junior World Ranking event.

Handicap Limits:
Boys: 8.0 GA
Girls: 12.0 GA

Registration Fee:
$110 inc GST (includes lunch both days, pull buggy hire and 1 token per day of range balls)

Caddie Policy

A player must not have a caddie during a round. Penalty applied for breach of Local Rule: The player gets the general penalty for each hole during which he or she is helped by a caddie. If the breach happens or continues between two holes, the player gets the general penalty for the next hole.

​PLEASE NOTE:
The maximum field size must not exceed 90 players. In the event of entry applications exceeding the number of places available in the Championship (45 girls, 45 boys), applications from those higher handicap competitors will be decided by a handicap ballot as at the closing date of entries.

Note: The Championship Play Committee reserves the right to increase the number of male or female players should the total field size not be achieved.
